Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem
VERSES AND HADITH OF THE DAY
FASTING
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse number-183, 184
-- O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous,
[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them ] - then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers good [i.e., excess] - it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew. [2:183-184]

PATIENCE
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse number - 45
And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] (2:45)

ENJOIN AND FORBID
Surah At-Tawabah
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those- Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. (9:71) *

Surah Al-Bararah, chapter - 2, verse - 121
-Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. (i.e., applying its teaching to their lives.) They (are the ones who) believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it - it is they who are the losers. (2:121) *

LAILAT-UL-QADR
Surah al-Qadr
- Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Quran] down during the Night of Decree.
- And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
- The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
- The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permisson of their Lord for every matter. [they bring down the decree for everything destined to occur in the coming year.]
- Peace it is [upon the believers] untill the emergence of dawn. *

The Day of Judgement
